Funny you ask--I'm an expert in that area, since I've experienced it. Well, it can become a disorder instantly when you decide to lose weight for the wrong reason. You're not "fat", but you psychologically have a problem and think that you are and need to lose weight. This usually stems from our own minds, and we set really skinny people as our standard. You intentionally do it in a sense, but in another, you don't know that what you're doing has severe mental consequences.
It can also become a disorder later on when you lose weight (because you really needed to) but don't make any changes to maintain your weight. This could be because you immediately like the control you have or because you think you're still 'fat".

Anorexia is when a person fails to maintain 85% of healthy body weight, refuses to eat or forces his or herself to throw up after a meal so that the body does not have time to obsorb essential nutrients it needs to maintain energy. Bone will easily be visible and energy levels will be low, hair loss may result as well as bad breath or unhealthy gums.

Eat 3 meals a day, exercise 3 - 5 times a week for at least 30 mins. to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
