What are some proven methods for overcoming fear and anxiety?
I have been suffering from anxiety the last year, and I am struggling with it at the moment pretty bad. I have quit my job to focus on getting better. I am seeing a psychologist who is helping, but I am still very scared to do certain things. What are some non-medicinal ways that you have overcome this fear?

Controlled, steady breathing (In through the nose, out through the mouth) and focused muscle contractions and relaxations. Also, get plenty of sleep and eat a healthy diet.

Hypnotherapy. I’ve never tried it as I am not anxious, but have heard good things about it from others who suffer anxiety on a forum I go to.
