I eat under 500 calories a day, is this an eating disorder?
I am a 15 yr old girl.
I eat under 500 calories a day because i look at my reflection and see a fat person staring back at me, but everyone says i am really thin which i think may be true but my mind tricks me.
Will there be any effects to my mood and any effects maybe to my body, and do i have an eating disorder?
And i wasn’t overweight before, but i have lost 5pounds in half a week and i am very close to being underweight.

That few calories per day is dangerous. This is basically slow starvation. It is very harmful to your body.
One way to look at this is that you do not like how you look, but being unhealthy and sick makes you look very bad, much worse than being overweight (not saying you are, it’s likely you’re skinny).
So pick the less of two evils: you’re unhappy with your looks, but you’re healthy. Or you’re unhealthy and sick and look horrible, and you’re still unhappy.
It sounds like you might need to get some help though.
Yes, and it will turn into anorexia if you don’t treat yourself. Get help. Food is a luxury.
Unless you’re eating a lot, just extremely healthy foods, you should start eating a little more on the food pyramid.

Eat what you want, but excersize,
join a gym or something.
Its what I do, and it actually works.
