How to regain a sense of control recovering from an eating disorder?

As you probably know, a lot of about eating disorders is trying to have control in your life – or at least, it was that way with me. My therapist has told me I need to find something I can control (that doesn’t hurt me). Sounds good… but I’m just reaching blanks.

This is primarily a question for those who have recovered or are trying to recover from an eating disorder. Have you found any ways to have some control in your life? Something to do, preferably. Something tangible.
