How hard is it to get pregnant if you have an eating disorder and ammnoreah?
Well, Ive had an eating disorder since the 9th grade and Im a freshman now in college. I haven’t had a period since my sophomore year in high school, so I am assuming I do have ammnoreah (however you spell it) but I was wondering how low are my chances of getting pregnant since I dont get periods? Can you even still get pregnant without having periods for such a long time? I’m not going to go out and have unprotected sex or anything, I was just wondering how hard it is to get pregnant when you dont get periods for so long. (and yes, I know, I should get help, I see a therapist and such)
Thanks!

Aside from seeing a therapist, you should see a gynecologist every year. This would be a discussion you should be having with the doctor. Amenorrhea may mean you aren’t ovulating, not sure. Get a check up, make sure everything is okay.
In the case of an eating disorder, lack of periods would almost certainly mean you’re not ovulating in which case you have no chance of pregnancy without medical intervention. Of course, you’d never want to rely on this in lieu of birth control.
