How do I get rid of my eating disorder?
Okay. I have the opposite of the norm of eating disorders. I eat too much. I never feel hungry, so I just keep eating and eating and eating, yet I never feel satisfied. How can I get rid of my eating disorder and lose some weight?
P.S.
I’m in high school, and I’ve been stressed, with college applications and homework and social stuff, etc. Does stress cause people to eat?

Hypnosis and NLP provide a way for you to quit overeating. These two approaches to the human mind provide for ways to influence the unconscious mind. The habit can be re-patterned into the powerful new habit described above. As you listen to Debbie on ‘Stop Overeating’ she will guide you into a natural self-hypnotic trance, a state of deep relaxation that provides an opportunity for your unconscious to review and change your overeating habit pattern. By use of hypnotic language structures, metaphors, stories and suggestion she offers new ideas for the unconscious to consider, adapt and adopt. Ideas that provide for a much better, natural relationship with food, a relationship that becomes your new habit pattern. With the new habit, you will start to move towards your natural weight easily and enjoyably. So you get very effective self help for overeating problems, simply by listening.
Eat slowly. This isn’t a new concept; remember all those familiar dieting tips like "sip water between bites" and "chew thoroughly before swallowing"? These were all aimed at slowing us down when we it takes 12 or more minutes for food satisfaction signals to reach the brain of a thin person, but 20 or more minutes for an obese person. Eating slowly ensures that these important messages have time to reach the brain.
You answered your own question. Stress is a huge factor in over eating. Just try to relax.
stress can be part of it. its all about what you eat. you should probably go to a doctor, get a physical and have them run some tests on your thyroid. your triglycerides may be too high.
yes i think so. i know someone sordove like that…hope this helps!!!♥
Umm get a girlfriend(unless you have one)
Eat balanced meals at regular times. Lose the junk.
Stress does cause some people to eat. It is a stress reliever. But you should not be concerned about getting stressed from making college applications. The colleges need to have bums on seats or they will go out of business.
But do enough exercise to work off just one gram of excess weight. Go on. I dare you. Make it as easy as possible on yourself. Two miles should be okay. Go on, get walking.
When you come back go and hae another feed and put that one gram back on. Then go out and and walk it all off again. Monotonously repetitive, isn’t it? Keep the walking up but cut the eating back. Stick to breakfast, lunch or dinner. A snack in between is okay but be choosy. A piece of fruit or a meat sandwich, protein for energy. Give yourself a reasonable time frame to get desired results. Six months are okay, six days are not.
Yes stress can cause you to over eat. Some people over eat some under eat when stressed.
Its called Binge eating or Compulsive over eating and it is a real eating disorder. Some people can treat just simple changes in their diet, some need psychological and nutritional support to over come it.
You can start by thinking of other ways to cope with the stress…like a walk, talking with someone. When you feel like your going to eat, remove yourself from the situation. Good Luck.
