How can I recover from an eating disorder?
I have made a lot of improvements in the past year, but I’m still not 100% healthy or where I need to be. I’m finally able to admit that I have an eating disorder, mainly I am bulimic. I don’t really have the support of my family or friends. I’ve been trying to read books and am going to start journaling when I’m tempted to fall into old habits. Does anyone else have any advice or support and encouragement? Thank you!

Hey, I’m sorry that your going through this I know that it is rough and at times can even be scary. I’m no expert but I do know a little. You might want to start up therapy, this might be able to help you with the emotional aspects. Or even a specialist in eating disorders would be fantastic.
As for the physical damage you need to learn that food is not the enemy. And by not consuming said food you can have severe side effects like not having your period or if you go to a point you can even die! You need to just make healthy decisions. Since you might need to gain a bit of weight I would do any hardcore exercises (I’m not saying a walk won’t be good for you, I’m just saying not to run a 4k just yet).
