Opposing change is good for the economy if you already have an economic system that is functional and pro-growth.  If you have a heavily-regulated, bureaucratic, or corrupt system, then opposing change would be harmful and would hinder progress.

It all depends on what system you&#039;ve started with.  An economy doesn&#039;t benefit by making changes.  Changes, in fact, are usually very costly for an economy.  However, in many cases, these costly changes must be made if the economy is to function.</description>
