The only contact the therapist may make is to law enforcement for the abuse. No mention may be made to the parents regarding the content of the session. And no, it doesn't matter who is paying for the session. Confidential means just that. The only time information may cross is in the case of family therapy. Even then, the rules are rather tricky.
